Wikimania 2007, the third annual international Wikimedia conference, was held last week in Taipei, Taiwan. Both a scientific conference about wikis and a community event, Wikimania 2007 brought together practitioners, developers, academics, NGOs, and businesses to share ideas of the various wiki projects around the world.
Even if you didn’t take part in the actual face-to-face event you may still participate in it online. In a short time number of presentations will be available online as audio or video recordings.
You are free to download and share the presentations of the conference. The abstract of all the presentations are already online and many of them include a full paper. For instance, you may find the following presentations interesting:
- Wikipedia mobile interaction by Oscar Puyal.
- Distribute knowledge using cell-phone readable physical hyperlinks by Alexis Rondeau, Hector Rinaldi and Stan Wiechers.
