Télécoms San Frontières (TSF) deployed an emergency relief team to Peru immediately following the August 15 earthquake and is setting up three telecommunications centers in Pisco, Ica, and Chincha.
From its operational bases in France, Nicaragua, and Thailand, TSF crews of IT and telecoms specialists are able to respond to a disaster or conflict anywhere in the world within 24 hours. TSF teams establish satellite-based telecom centers offering broadband Internet, phone and fax lines that facilitate the coordination of aid efforts.
