NextGen Awards Being Piloted in Vietnam

Launched in Spring 2007, the NextGen Awards & Mentors Contest seeks to inspire and motivate young people, ages 13-20, to come up with innovative ideas or projects using mobile phones to address issues related to health, education, and the environment. The awards are being piloted in Vietnam (Deadline: October 15) with other countries soon to follow. Winners receive a cash award, as well as ongoing mentoring and peer networking.
