Stands for Wideband Code Division Multiple Access, which is a standard technology, commonly referred to as 3G. There are many different types of technologies which enable so-called 3G services, but WCDMA is the most widely used throughout the world today.

WCDMA brings a much faster connection compared to standard GSM, for compatible mobile devices, handhelds and also laptops. Data speeds of more than 300Kb/s are possible, which greatly improves services, the speed of sending data from one destination to another, browsing the Internet and sharing information while on the move.
